Coach Phil Handy has been a transformative force in basketball since founding his training business, 94FEETOFGAME, in 1999. His mission has always been to cultivate talent both domestically and internationally, and his impact on the game is undeniable. His journey took a significant leap in 2011 when he accepted his first NBA role as the Director of Player Development for the Los Angeles Lakers, where he had the unique opportunity to work closely with the legendary Kobe Bryant.
After making a mark with the Lakers, Handy moved on to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he played a crucial role in their 2016 NBA Championship victory. His expertise and coaching prowess continued to shine as he advanced to the Toronto Raptors as an Assistant Coach, contributing to their championship run in 2019. In a remarkable five-year span, Coach Handy rejoined the Lakers in 2019, culminating in yet another NBA title in 2020, marking his third championship in just five years.
Throughout his illustrious career, Coach Handy has trained and developed some of the greatest players in basketball history, including Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Steve Nash, Anthony Davis, and Kevin Durant, among others.
